GoldPlanar GL2000 Headphone w/ Extra Pads & Case (Double Magnet Version) Im consolidating my headphone collection... Excellent headphone. This is the Double Magnet version everyone went nuts for; when you listen to Tools Lateralus through it, youll understand why. It sounds BIG, punchy, and has excellent bass. Great with almost every genre I have ran through it. It was somewhat picky with some Jazz tracks, but it is always a win with any pop and rock. All of my listening was done with the leather pads - this is where the bass is. I have heard that the hybrid pads open up the sound stage even more and add more top end, but I was always so happy with the leathers, I have literally never even tried the hybrid pads - they are new/untouched. This can games really well too, due to its excellent imaging. Easy to drive, versatile, but, I have too much gear...So, as much as I love this thing, I do not have a specific use for it and it must go!
