This is a model 3-5258A from GE, I believe its from the early 1980s. Very good cosmetic condition. Some loss of paint on the right grill (see the close-up pics). The AM/FM tuner works good (FM better than AM). Line Input works as well (you can use it to play music from your phone/MP3 player). The tape deck rewinds and fast forwards, but Play does not engage. So that part of it needs work. Volume, balance, bass, treble, Loudness, controls all work as they should. The Stereo Accent control is strange, it broadens the stereo field, like youre at a concert or something, but it also cuts the volume a lot. Its just kind of weird, so I never use it. I have tested it with both batteries and the AC cable, and it works in both scenarios. The battery terminals do have some rust, but not bad enough to prevent it from working.
