This GE shortwave radio is loaded with features. it has both analog & digital tuning. it has bfo, fm-afc, rf-gain, sw-calibration, band width-wide/narrow and built-in meter for tuning/battery. this GE radio receives in 6 different bands. band-1/FM (88-108mhz), band-2/AM (540-1600khz), band-3/SW1(3.5-10mhz), band-4/SW2(10-19mhz), band-5/SW3(19-25mhz) and band-6/SW4(25-31mhz). shortwave broadcast meter bands include: [49/41/31/25/19/16/13/11] and amateur communications meter bands include: [80-75/40/30/20/18/15/12/11/10]. this GE radio works with 6x D-cell batteries or ac-mains (220v/110v).
