The Micro-Scanner stylus is very delicate and setting up the SH-3280 properly takes some understanding of the component. That said, please read on if interested. This auction includes ALL the following components: 1-EPC-451c cartidge upgraded by Garrott Brothers and includes the super rare Micro-Scanner EPC-451c stylus. This is an original piece(made by the original brothers before their passing). Unknown hours, but tip looks very nice and plays exceptionally well! 2- Extra, Original N.O.S. EPS-451qd stylus (never mounted/used). 3- Original EPC-451c aluminum box with all paperwork and tools/screws. Cartridge with Micro-Scanner will be installed in this for safe shipping. 4- Technics SH-3280 CD-4 system demodulator with built-in strain gauge capabilities. This is a Japanese only component and is 100v. You will need a step-down transformer for it to work properly. The head-shell and overhang gauge are not included in the sale and are merely for showing the cartridge/stylus easier. I have used this set-up sparingly (except the nos stylus) and know that it all works correctly and functions properly. Used Garrott P-77 phono cartridge with stylus. It has been tested to ensure it works, tracks well, and sounds good on both channels. Sounds quite great in fact!
