I had an expert shop make me a custom plexiglass cover to improve the appearance and function of the turntable. It has been used frequently over the years in rotation along with the rest of my collection. It is in near-mint condition and has been serviced regularly. It has never needed any major repair and is over-engineered to be reliable. This is a extremely good turntable as Garrard was known as production producing high quality consistently with their entire product line during the golden age of High-fidelity from 1970-1980.
