Item has been in storage for 30+ years. It is sold untested and sold as is. Dustcover is gnarly, but everything else looks okay. Slight separation on base in back seam.

I purchased this item from Facebook marketplace a little over 6 months ago. The item was advertised as tested and working. Due to other commitments I hadn’t got round to testing the turntable until this week. I plugged it in and I couldn’t get much out of it although will openly admit I spent less than 5 minutes trying I’m in the process of moving house and don’t have the time or space to persevere in getting it up and running. So selling as spares and repair - it may well be a very easy fix for someone who has the time and expertise. The item is in very good condition, there’s a couple of ink marks on the top cover but may come off with a bit of elbow grease. Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask

Diesen Plattenspieler habe ich im Jahr 2000 vor der Verschrottung gerettet. Also in einer Zeit, in der niemand einen Plattenspieler haben wollte. Jetzt nach 23 Jahren kommt er zum Verkauf. Hier ein gewaltiger, äußerst seltener Garrard Plattenspieler Typ Zero 100 SB, ein echtes Schwergewicht (10 kg) aus den frühen 1970er Jahren. Nicht zu vergleichen mit dem heutigen, armseligen Plastikdreck aus China. Ich habe den Plattenspieler getestet: Riemen ist total ausgeleiert, Motor läuft und dreht auch den sehr schweren Plattenteller mit dem ausgeleierten Riemen, jedoch zu langsam. Automatik bewegt sich immer auf 7, also Single Größe (17 cm), egal was ich an dem runden Drehknopf einstelle. Netzkabel ist an einer Stelle mit Isolierband umwickelt. Anschluss erfolgt mit 5 poligem DIN Stecker an einen Receiver oder Verstärker.Nadel mit System ist vorhanden bzw. verbaut. Ich habe das Gerät so gefunden, vermute es ist der original Tonabnehmer. Bitte alle Bilder anschauen, diese sind ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des Angebots. Haube hat sehr viele Kratzer auf der Oberfläche, auf der Rückseite ist ein kleines Stück herausgebrochen.Hergestellt in Großbritanien im Jahr 1973, laut Prägung in dem sehr schweren Plattenteller aus Druckguss. Verkauf erfolgt als defekt, nicht betriebsbereit, zur Instandsetzung. Am liebsten wäre mir der Käufer würde das Gerät in Frankfurt a. Main abgeholen, ansonsten Versand.
