It is in good condition but does show some signs of age. The perspex lid has a few light scuffs / scratches, but nothing excessive. Item would benefit from a general clean. We are not familiar with the technical details of this model so please check pics very carefully to satisfy yourself the item is complete / as it should be prior to bidding. Item has been plugged in and the turntable turned and a record played through speakers that were rigged up to an amp. However, this item was gently moved and then plugged back in a second time and the second time we could not get the turntable to turn on demand. It seems therefore that there may be an intermittent fault or it may be as simple as the fuse has blown, either way, please consider this item to be UNTESTED and for SPARES and REPAIRS ONLY as we have been unable to fully test this item. Garrard GT-25P-1 - britischer Vintage Plattenspieler mit Riemenantrieb! Schon seit der Grammofon-Ära zählte Garrard - ehemals Hofjuwelier des Königshauses - auch zu den führenden britischen Plattenspieler-Herstellern. Das Modell SP-25 galt in den 1970ern als meistverkaufter Plattenspieler Großbritanniens. Der Nachfolger GT-25P ist ein halbautomatischer Plattenspieler mit Riemenantrieb und klassischem S-Tonarm, der um 1977 auf den Markt kam. Robuster Riemenantrieb durch vierpoligen Synchronmotor, Subtellerkonstruktion mit Alumiumguss-Plattenteller und invertiertem Tellerlager. Zarge aus Polyester-Glas-Compound, Isolierung gegen Erschütterungen durch gefederte Füsse.Der Garrard besitzt eine Halbautomatik, d.h. nach manuellem Aufsetzen der Nadel wird der Tonarm am Ende der Schallplatte automatisch zurückgeführt. S-Tonarm mit manuellem Lift, entkoppeltem Gegengewicht und Antiskatingeinrichtung. Wechsel-Tonkopf nach SME-Bauart aus Magnesiumguss, Audio Technica AT-91 Magnetsystem. Anschluß über Cinch-Kabel mit Masseleiter. Technische Daten: Gleichlaufschwankungen: +/- 0,12% (DIN), effektive Tonarmlänge 230 mm, Plattentellerdurchmesser 31,1 cm, Rumpel-Geräuschspannungsabstand 63 dB. Abmessungen: 45,0 x 36,5 cm. Der Garrard ist technisch in ganz ordentlichem Zustand und funktioniert. Bricht man die Wiedergabe allerdings mittels des Reject-Schalters ab, verklemmt sich die Abschaltung gelegentlich. Die automatische Endabschaltung funktioniert dagegen zuverlässig.Optisch mit deutlichen Gebrauchsspuren, Oxidationsspuren am Plattenteller und Lackmängeln. Die Haube fehlt leider komplett.
