The middle metal pole that holds the records in place is bent. Has fair signs of wear, lots of scuffs and marks, signs of ageing, wear to the case/box, but overall good and no signs of extensive damage. Selling spares/repairs. IT IS FITTED WITH A GARRARD RC 121 Mk2 AUTOCHANGE DECK WHICH HAS 4 SPEEDS AND A TWIN VALVE PUSH PULL TYPE AMPLIFIER. THIS WAS THE VERY FIRST MODEL IN A LONG LINE OF SRP 31s AND DIDNT USE THIS AUTOCHANGE UNIT FOR VERY LONG. AS FAR AS I CAN ASCERTAIN THIS UNIT IS COMPLETELY ORIGINAL WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE CARTRIDGE WHICH HAS BEEN CHANGED OUT FOR A MORE MODERN TYPE UTILISING A FLIP OVER STYLUS. ALTHOUGH IN WORKING CONDITION BOTH THE DECK AND THE AMPLIFIER WILL BENEFIT FROM A SERVICE SO THIS ONE IS SOLD AS SEEN. I HAVE STACKED IT UP WITH HALF A DOZEN 78s AND IT PLAYED THROUGH THEM FINE. This is in Good Condition and shows minimal signs of use and/or age. There are no signs of damage, misuse or poor storage however there is a dark ‘stain’ on a couple of pages (see photos). The ‘stain’ is not any kind of mold but is ink or something similar. It does not smear or wipe off and the pages have not stuck, etc. The Template was and is folded in the back and in very good shape. This is being offered As Is.
