BR100 - balanced gainclone, requires xlr/balanced input signal which BTLs 2 of the LM3886 chips. Using 2 - 150w mean well power supplies set for 24 volt rails. Nichicon muse input caps. As BTL, both output terminals of the binding post are hot in that cannot connect to high level sub input since black is not ground but the inverted phase output signal. Also, gainclone circuit about 26-27db and balanced operation adds another 6db. If one wish, can add resistor on the input signal to attenuate signal to bring gain down - but using a balanced out preamp would be fine. Creating balanced amplifier reduces distortion. More powerful gainclone variant. Not the most fabulous construction, but heat sink works well and sadly the rear panel is acrylic so take care making connections - just cant warrant investing more material cost at this moment. Compact size, about 10 wide, 10-11 deep and 3.5 tall.

Gainclone Dual Mono Power Amplifier. This amplifier really does sound amazing and outperforms many expensive branded power amplifiers l have previously owned including Linn and Audiolab. It has a great balance between warmth and a natural sound but also weight and power. Please note this is a more unusual dual mono design with 2 separate toroidal transformers powering each channel. It uses 2 LM3886 boards, one for each channel. 68 watts per channel and seems to drive many speakers well so partnering not much of an issue. Has been built in a primare amplifier chassis.
