Of it playing and producing sound at 60 volts It shows all its potential even though there is a very slight hum on the left side. I think it might be a tube or bias issue but I can’t be sure. The tubes on that side got very hot so I didn’t want to turn up the variac further. The hum was very slight. You have to be close to the speaker to hear it. Later. I switched the power tubes around and then managed to push it to 80 volts. The slight hum was still there but the music was a lot clearer than in the video at 60 volts. Later, I replaced the 60 volts video with the video on there now at 80 volts….. as can be seen from the video, when I lower the volume the hum is minimal and barely audible and you have to get close to hear it I am not sure how to bias this and would let the new owner do that. Although the longer it stays here the more I’ll learn I can’t check the tubes because my tester doesn’t test most of the tubes. This is a 100 volt amplifier. Despite the markings on the chasis this AMP USES 6HB5 power tubes These are legendary sounding amplifiers and beautiful to look at too. This is an original Futterman that has been changed to use 100 volts as shown on the label

This is a 100 volt amplifier....it has a 117 volt tap incase you want to chandw it but i will advise leaving it on 100 volt and getting a variac or step down transformer tooperate it safely These are legendary sounding amplifiers and beautiful to look at too.
