(Alpha conductors are fine OCC wire treated with Furutech’s Alpha Cryogenic and Demagnetizing process.) The dielectric is surrounded by an inner sheath of RoHS-compliant PVC incorporating carbon powder that enhances damping, and that in turn is covered by a full ? (Alpha) conductor wire braid shield. Another flexible PVC outer sheath and a Nylon braid jacket finish the job. Length: 1 metre (108 cm tip to tip) Terminated with Furutech FI-1363(R) rhodium plated UK mains and Furutech FI-50 rhodium plated and carbon fibre IEC connectors. The two plugs alone retail for £370. RRP: £1840 (for a 1.8 metre length). Important: this cable was originally 1.8 metres in length but was cut in two by the previous owner to create two shorter lengths.
