The ribbon material is an ultra light (10mg) multilayer aluminum sandwich with a cross section of 0.015mm (approx 0.6 thou). This medium sized ribbon tweeter has a high sensitivity of 93 dB and a broad operating range of between 1.4 kHz to 40 Khz. The end tensioning clamps form a substantial heatsink for the low impedance ribbon and an impedance matching transformer is built into the back of the housing.
