Sub D Anschluss für Player und Recorder. Die angeschlossenen Geräte werden über das RS 422 Sony Protokoll angesteuert. Insofern ist diese Remote nur für tatsächlich Profi-mäßig ausgestattete Geräte, wie Fostex D-20, 25 und 30, oder auch die Sony Typen PCM 7030, 7040 und 7050 geeignet. Mit der Remote können TC-genaue Master Bänder mit Start IDs angefertigt, punktgenau Stellen auf dem Band angefahren werden, usw. Die Schnittsteuerung unterstützt Insert- und Assemble-Schnitt. Ganz nebenbei ist sie auch ganz praktisch, um beim Mastern auf DAT am Pult zu stehen, da man nicht für jeden Handgriff aufstehen muss und zudem mit dem Jog-/Shuttle-Rad ein sehr angenehmes Werkzeug zur Hand hat.
