Motor has to be helped to start and then plays fine.  33/45/78 settings all worked as well as their pitch adjustment. Someone rigged a working on/off switch because the off button stopped working and they also put a custom input on the back as well.  Minor damages to a few corners and minor damage around the rim. There is no dust cover or dust cover hinge mounts. I have a video of this working but ebay keeps taking it down for unknown reasons. Unknown tonearm in nice working condition. Was told by the previous owner that the base was an SME, but I have now way of knowing for sure. He couldnt remember the tonearm maker. He said it was possibly micro seiki, but again, I dont know how to tell. Fons turntable CQ30 in full working order works on all speeds as it should arm lifter not working otherwise all working sounds really good fitted with Shure m55e cartridge with new stylus. Preferably collection but will post if needed.

Fons 3 speed record player. Reported range 29-100r.p.m. High mass cast platter Bearing has been re-greased Belt change will require base removing and one of the springs to be undone. Has been used regularly over the years by the previous owner so will have ware/usage marks. The record player is old and the electrics are more complicated than many models. It should be brought with this in mind as parts. I have not owned it very long and have not discuused the history with the previous own other than he brought it new and used it regularly.
