We really enjoyed and were very impressed while having the 948s in our house system. They are detailed, with a smooth midrange, and have plenty of bottom end. The only two blemishes that we could find are a few light scratches on the top glass of one of the speakers, and a scuff on the lower right front baffle of one speaker. There are a couple of minor defects (possibly from the factory) in the paint on the glass stand bases that I tried to capture in the photos. Otherwise there are no scratches on the uprights. These are the stands for the Aria series of bookshelf speakers and designed for the Aria Evo X No.1 bookshelf speakers as well as the past models of Aria bookshelf speakers. I ended up needing taller stands for my office system, so this is a great opportunity for you to save on the OEM Focal stands which are $589 new.
