I tested this item by connecting a phonograph and speaker. That part worked fine. It tested satisfactory. The volume (both up and down) worked as did the equalizer and loudness. Here are the issues: - As you can see from the pictures the down volume button is missing, however, you can still lower the volume by sticking something into the hole and pushing the button inside. - For some reason the frequency display does not light up. The radio works, It is just impossible to tell the frequency. That was the extend of my testing Please refer to the pictures for the condition. Na gut, ein paar Worte zu dieser beeindruckenden HiFi-Anlage kann ich mir nicht verkneifen ... Avery Fisher, der große Mäzen und Liebhaber klassischer Musik, Erfinder des Transistor-Verstärkers und Namensgeber der Avery Fisher Hall, in der heute die New Yorker Philharmoniker ihr Zuhause haben, krönte 1990 sein bemerkenswertes Gesamtwerk an High-Fidelity-Geräten mit der legendären Professional Reference Digital Serie Z1. Diese Anlage stellte mit einem Schlag einen Großteil der seinerzeit verfügbaren High-End-HiFi-Anlagen in den Schatten. Fisher-typisch enthielten die Komponenten nur die besten und hochwertigsten Elektronikbausteine, und waren zudem gespickt mit der allerneuesten Digitaltechnik. Auch die Verarbeitung der Gehäuse und Bedienelemente suchte seinesgleichen. Alle Geräte waren extrem schwer, was nicht zuletzt an den enormen Materialstärken und den üppig dimensionierten Trafos lag. Der hier angebotene Receiver RS-Z1 ist das Herzstück der Z1-Serie.Er befindet sich in einem ausgezeichneten Sammler-Zustand. Es gibt praktisch keine Gebrauchsspuren und er funktioniert tadellos. Zudem ist er mit den begehrten Seitenteilen aus Rosenholz ausgestattet. Es gab ihn auch in normalem Schwarz. Wichtig: An der vorderen, unteren Ecke der rechten Zarge gibt es eine ca. 1 mm große Beschädigung (siehe Fotos). Hier ist das Holzfurnier etwas abgeknickt, aber nicht abgebrochen. Dies lässt sich leicht mit einem Tropfen Sekundenkleber beheben.
