This unit has been restored, with a new belt, new capacitors and general maintenance. Its fully functional and sounds excellent! Technical condition:The drive belt and capacitors (in the portable recorder) have been replaced. The microcassette deck is fully functional and sounds excellent. The radio also works perfectly and picks up many stations. The tape head and pinch roller have also been cleaned. Cosmetic condition:Its in great condition, with almost some minor wear. From an estate of an audio collector, this Fisher K-10 Dynamic Spacexpander is in good physical condition. I connected it to a receiver & applied power slowly with a variac. The SPACEXPANDER operated very well and sounded excellent. It has 2 Fisher ECC83 tubes from Holland (Amperex?) and an RCA 7247. The SPACEXPANDER control brass plate has 2 holes drilled, as shown in the photos. Unlike several of these that have recently sold on eBay, this one is complete with all tubes, SPACEXPANDER level control, and connecting cables. Ive listed this as For Parts or Not Working due to being a vintage piece of electronics, as well as due to ebay part swappers; ask me how I know. Please read the description carefully and examine all the photos, as theyre part of the description. Ive included detailed photos of internals.
