Professionally Upgraded & Bench Tested: • I had the Vintage Fisher cabinets that are in very good condition and look really good with A+ condition Grille Cloth but the speaker drivers were worn out. • I had a great sounding set of JBL62’s that had damaged cabinets and the cabinets were beyond repair, but they sounded great with the woofers, tweeters & crossovers in excellent condition. • The woofers & Tweeters in the JBL’s were exactly the same size and fit perfectly into the Fisher Cabinets. (Also The box volume of both the Fishers and the JBL cabinets are very close to the same size). • I installed the JBL62 woofer & tweeter drivers & crossovers from the JBL62’s into the Fisher Cabinets. • I reinforced the interior of the Fisher Cabinets with solid Maple wood & installed 5-way Banana Jack connectors. (See photos). • After the upgrade was complete I fully tested them Using DATS speaker testing software and the frequency response is very flat and is a little better than the JBL62 specifications. (See printout of testing results in the photos). • DATS Test Results: • 2-way driver. Vintage Fisher Mid speaker from Cabinet STV-734Working as it should, it looks to me that it was fixed at some point around the ring it has a coding of some kind of material/silicone, I am not sure what it is, or if they are like that original it does not affect performance sound still crisp selling as-is Please see all pictures and use the zoom feature.
