Fisher Studio Standard AD-924 Vintage Compact Disc Player in Working Condition. Manufactured in Japan in February 1986. This unit has been in storage for at least 30 years. Full disclosure: When I first plugged it in and put a disc in (with no audio connection) it was making a clicking noise as I scrolled through tracks. I then decided to plug it into a receiver and see if it would play. I used a very clean (no scratches) 14 track disc. The drawer opened and closed properly. It went right to track 1, I pressed play and it amazingly made it through all 14 tracks with no skips. The clicking noise also seemed to work itself out, because the unit operated quietly and smoothly on this second test run. I am pretty surprised, considering its age. The Forward, Back and both Scan buttons all worked perfectly as well. I did not test the Memory or Repeat functions. I also dont have the original transport screws, but upon request I can try and track down some that fit. Please inspect all of the pictures to determine the item condition for yourself.
