Hi Everyone! Up for auction is a vintage The Fisher tube stereo preamplifier model 400-CX-2 in good original shape. There is no cabinet included and the far right two knobs are missing the gold end caps, otherwise it has all its original Telefunken/Fisher tubes and all the colored lenses on the front are there and knobs are original. No damage to the unit however the center bottom of the faceplate has a very small ding and there is a nick on the far right upper face (see photos 4-5). Fairly clean chassis and it could use more detailed cleaning. I powered the unit for a few moments and the tubes lit up along with the colored lenses (see last photo) but that is all the testing done recently, I have not used this preamplifier since 2002 and it did work back at that time however it will be sold as-is since it may need by now capacitors and deoxit on the controls and the switches so bid accordingly.
