Fisher model 143 stereo receiver. The overall appearance of this receiver is good, the dial light is bright, but the sound of the left channel is very small, the sound is distorted, abnormal, and needs repairing, the right channel is very normal, the sound is very good, please check the details of the picture to judge the condition of the item, if in doubt Please contact us.

Sears Audio by Fisher Stereo Receiver Model 143.92512700. Tested speaker channels A&B for AM/FM phono and auxiliary input. Sounds loud and clear. FM stereo worked great for all the stations in town. The balance worked fine too. It’s a nice unit in pretty good cosmetic condition but could use a detail cleaning to really make it shine. I have experience shipping vintage audio equipment in this item Shelby package properly to ensure a damage free delivery.

Up for sale is a Fisher Model 143 stereo receiver. We have thoroughly tested this unit and it is working as designed. The official specs for this model are not available, but judging by the type and configuration of the output transistors, this unit makes around 40WPC into an 8ohm load. We have replaced all dial and function indicator lamps. The stereo indicator lamp has also been replaced. All potentiometers and switches have been cleaned with DeOxit D5 and Caigs Faderlube and the tuner gangs have been cleaned with Electrosolve. All controls are now operating smoothly and quietly. The output transistors thermal compound has been replaced as well. The faceplate, buttons, and knobs show various nicks and scratches from use. The outer case shows a few dings and scuffs too. No manuals, interconnects, original carton, or original packing materials are included in this sale. All that is for sale is what is described above and what is seen in the photos. This items shipping weight will be 42 pounds. This unit has been fully serviced and tested in our shop.
