Unit tested and is in good working and cosmetic condition (see video and photos),comes with 5 blank music CDs so can start recording. CDs must be music CDs, regular computer disc will not work.I was able to make multiple CDs using speeds 1X and 4X, using 4X makes slight noise in the beginning then goes quiet after a few minutes (see and hear video). I made KISS CD in photo using 4X in video, it automatically finalizes with using 4XYou can make external recordings with optical cable or RCA cables. I use a recorder like this one to make CDs off Youtube videos or apple music works great. Thanks for looking

Requires 2x AA batteries, not included. Otherwise in great shape, buttons are not worn. It’s a little dusty. I think it’s compatible with some Sanyo models.

I have a vintage Fisher dual tray CD recorder, model CD-RW1000. It was made in China and released in the year 2001. It uses a normal 2-prong plug for power. It has dual CD trays, one for the CD and the other to record onto. This Fisher recorder has been sitting in storage for a good amount of time and it does have wear and tear. This includes scratches, markings and some of the coloring has come off in some areas. I added photos to show what I am referring too. I plugged it in and it appears the front screen works as it should. The buttons also appear to work as they should, but both CD trays will not eject on their own when pressing the open button. I added a video showing what I am referring too. I was able to manually open both trays, however now that the one on the right comes open, it will not stay closed. I press the button to close it and it will not close without you giving it a little push. Once it closes, a few seconds later it will eject again on its own and you can sometimes hear a loud high pitch noise from the CD player. I believe there is an issue with both motors, but I am not an expert, so I am not 100% sure. Because I am unable to have both trays open and close, I am unable to fully test this CD recorder. So I am selling this AS IS, for parts or repair. No returns and no refunds offered.
