I have powered them with 2 different style systems, a Mark Levenson amp/ preamp and also a tube amp, both setups sound incredible with amazing clarity throughout the range. I do not use them with a subwoofer, I have not felt it was needed. I have had several electrostatic speakers and also Magnepan planner speakers over the years. Both types of speakers emit sound from the front but also to the rear, providing a substantially more lifelike sound, I will never go back to standard front firing boxed speakers. I dont say this lightly, I have had B & W 801Ds and several other expensive setups, they dont sound as good. Specifically regarding these 300is, I feel they sound as good or better than more expensive Martin Logan sets I have had, at more than twice the price. They are in wonderful condition. I moved to a larger space and am upgrading to larger Speakers. Final Sound is a Dutch company, manufacturing electrostatic speakers for some time. I believe these 300is retailed for around $3800. As you can see from the pictures, they are in great condition, it would be difficult to find a set in better condition. I am including the original shipping box and packaging including the original power supplies, screws and bases. They are very well packed. I also have a brand new pair of electronic boxes with new capacitors/transformer that power the electrostatics.One of the photos you can see show them standing next to my other electrostatics, Quad 2912, which cost $16000. The Finals 600i are almost 1/3 the retail price of the Quads ESLs and can sonically match them in many areas one which makes them a fantastic buy as you are comparing them with one of the best sounding electrostatic speakers available in the market.These ESL speakers are very attractive with black panels and silver sides which fit perfectly in almost any room without looking like a refrigerator box. Sonically, the midrange/highs details and accuracy are exceptional with a very wide sound stage depending on placement and the acoustics of the room where the pinpoint stage presentation of the musicians is like listening and watching live music. The bass is good but I would recommend adding a subwoofer over time to give a full bottom depth to the music that will rattle your listening room. Electrostatics speakers have the most transparent midrange/highs over any box speaker until you reach the very hi end market mostly due to the large panels plus there is no box to contain the sound.
