For sale is a used, vintage Fairchild 440 Belt-Drive Turntable with Fairchild 500 Tonearm, on Original Suspension Plinth This combination is quite rare, particularly the Fairchild 500 tonearm. The turntable works great. It runs smoothly and quietly. Speed appears to be good. It is 120V for US/Canada market. I am not sure if the belt is in need of replacement but would be a good idea. Pretty good physical condition for the age. It does have wear and scratches due to use. The cork mat works good but not sure if its original. Please examine the pictures closely for they are part of description. Sale includes the turntable shown in pictures only; no tonearm, box, manual, or any other accessories. Here is a Rare Vintage Fairchild 225-A Turntable Phonograph Cartridge. I did a continuity test on the terminals with a reading of 198.4 ohms. The needle looks ok but I did not do a formal test on a table so is being as not working for parts or restoration.

FAIRCHILD 412 TURNTABLE, 1950s? No arm or other components. This was purchased at an estate. I do not know how this works (if it needs more components). The turntable does not turn when power is on but spins smoothly when turned by hand. I am listing ASIS just incase. I would guess that someone who knows these knows if it should turn or not. The motor humms when this is turned on but I cant tell if it is running or frozen up, so once again, this is being sold ASIS. There is masking tape residue from old tape, I am sure it will clean. You only get what is shown in the pictures. This will ship FedEx and require a signature. Of course this is returnable but buyer must pay return shipping. Please feel free to ask questions. I have sold this TWICE before but both buyers did not want signature required on the shipping.....FedEX requires it so if you cannot sign for it please do not bid.
