So I connected spring and tightened brass part on motor spindle and great turntable is turning. So looks like everything is at least functioning., I don’t have speaker to test sound. I believe it may need a new idler wheel or need adjusting and possibly oil. When I turn it on the motor is running, and when I change speeds they change. I pushed the motor up from bottom with my hand and wheel starts turning, reason I believe will not take much work to get going properly, I just don’t have time or knowledge to work on these. This cartridge, is from the 1950s, and is in good condition, the stylus shows only minimal signs of wear, and the coil tests good. I have not test played the cartridge, but see no reason it should not function. As this cartridge is over 50 years old, it may merit rebuild, new suspension etc. Sold as is, but guaranteed to be as described. This cartridge originally was mounted in an RCA VICTOR headshell, and was intended for use with the 6HF-2 top of the line RCA HI-FI console,however is intended to be used with any Hi-Fi set , with phono pre amp with proper impedance for moving coil cartridges . I am selling my Martin Logan ESL Expression 13A electrostatic speakers (in gloss black) that I purchased from a dealer. These were purchased to be setup as a 2-channel system in a dedicated audio room but family obligations necessitate that I need to use the room for other purposes. These speakers are in excellent condition and in perfect working condition with very, very minimal use (see the pics). These speakers are the current model from Martin Logan and retail for $17,999. They have hardly been used so can’t justify the cost to keep them. I have all the original boxes, packaging and accessories that came with the speakers.
