The resonance of the weight is damped by viscous silicon oil and a damping cylinder, effectively damping the resonance of the entire pickup system and successfully reducing resonance to less than half that of conventional systems. The resonance frequency of the main weight can be adjusted with the damping selector at the rear of the main weight according to the cartridge compliance, and the amount of braking can be set to an appropriate value. The arm pipe, 9.5 mm in outer diameter and 0.5 mm thick, is made of titanium nitride pipe arm, which is made of lightweight and mechanically strong titanium that has been further hardened by nitrogen. The tone arms support structure is made of titanium nitride pipe.
