Yamaha Aventage RX-A830 7 Channel 110 Watt Receiver - Parts/Repair. This unit is in great physical shape. Also includes remote, power cord, antenna and calibration microphone. This unit does power on, but sometimes does not produce audio immediately / takes a while before audio starts working and speaker output indication lights up on the display. This sounds like a fairly common issue with these units - when the DSP chip warms up audio begins to work. Online fixes include replacing the chip / heating the chip / re-flowing solder connections to the chip. Sold AS-IS for parts/fix. When it does work, all outputs sound great!

This Yamaha CD Changer was working well and sounded great up until just recently. They moved it to a different room while loaded, causing a few of the CDs to slide out and get jammed. We successfully removed the jammed CDs, bit in doing so, they managed to knock a small cable loose, causing the mechanism to no longer move. I couldnt figure out how to get the cable back into place, nor can I be certain that this was the only damage, but I cant imagine anything else was damaged in the process. As such, this may end up being a very, very easy repair for anyone who has experience working on these devices. Bottom line, I just dont want this lovely device to end up in a landfill over such a silly problem, hence why I am charging basically just $20 plus my shipping cost. The unit is in excellent cosmetic condition overall. There are some very light scuffs, but they are so faint that I was having a hard time even managing to photograph them. There are a few very small scratches on the left case side as well. However, the face of the unit seems to be almost, if not entirely, blemish free.
