I am selling a used Emotiva XMC-2 A/V processor. The processor is in great shape aside from some small scratches on the top and is still under warranty until March 1st of 2025. The processor works and sounds great and includes all accessories in box as well as the external box needed for Dirac Live calibration and the 3u rack ears for rack mounting. The processor is also eligible to be upgraded once the XMC-2+ comes out if you need HDMI 2.1 support in the future.

I am the original owner, purchased new directly from Emotiva in Nov 2020 so it still has over 2 years on the factory warranty.This unit is in great cosmetic, electronic and mechanical/physical shape - no dents, dings or scratches and used in a smoke-free environment. EMOTIVA XMC-1 7.2 Channel AV Preamp/Processor 4K UHD DIRAC XLNT. Subject to prior sale on other venues such as CL. Really cool piece of gear and Emotiva’s first product fully designed and assembled at their Tennessee facilities. Would be impossible for me to go into every detail and bell and whistle this thing is capable of, but suffice it to say even now it is a very usable and capable home theater processor with full discrete outputs, most of the major formats and the HDMI 2.2 upgrade. However I did not originally obtain this unit for its theater uses, but rather on a hunch after doing much research on its fully differential balanced design, available room correction via DIRAC (which I did not actually end up needing to use) and the powerful built in parametric EQ. I also knew that Emotiva based much of the philosophy and architecture of the XMC-1 on their extremely well reviewed differential preamp line. This hunch ended up being correct as the XMC-1 not only hangs with much higher end standalone preamp, it outperforms many of them with a dead quiet background, excellent construction, and a beautiful OLED display. Considering it was connected to speakers many times it’s original retail MSRP ($2499), I would easily have been able hear shortcuts and shortfalls. Oh, and did I mention the remote control made out of solid metal? It doubles as a weapon. No box or microphone but will also include a power cord. It pains me to let this one go, but having gone back to an integrated unit, I don’t really have a use for it anymore. Excellent overall condition both sonically and cosmetically.
