Recommending a pair of Eltax speakers. Thats not something i ever thought id do but these quirky efforts are decent. 3 tweeters none of them sounding exacty the same was a genius idea or they got lucky. I wasnt happy with myself for liking them in the beginning as i normally see Eltax speakers as something to get the fire started but having since looked online i see they have a following and the reviews on them are good regarding bass, separation etc The median sold price for these is £101.22 according to this lot so priced for a quick sale. Amp choice is important with them. They didnt overly impress me with a Cambridge Audio A1 Mk3 but they did with a Nad 3150 and an Arcam 8r so im guessing that somewhere around the 40-60wpc might be their sweet spot. The drivers and tweeters all work and the cabs are in good condition. The front covers have an issue. Both have a portion of the fabric that needs re-gluing with a hot glue gun. I havent got boxes for them so cash on collection only please from NN5.
