This ELECTROCOMPANIET ECI 2 Integrated Amplifier is a high-quality, plug and play device that will provide you with exceptional sound. In my opinion one of the most sonically and visually appealing integrated amplifiers ever made. Thick acrylic front panel with gold details. Very elegant. Excellent condition. It was fully checked and serviced last year. A few scuffs on the knobs and handle as shown in the pictures. I don’t notice any other cosmetic issues. It’s a more than twenty years old amp after all. Rated 50W @ 8 ohms, but can do much more than that, quite powerful than its rating appears. Please refer to the screenshot of the owners manual above for specs. I was using it with a pair of Sonus Faber bookshelves - excellent match in my opinion. The amp provides a slightly warm sound, wonderfully musical, detailed, and never feel fatiguing. Selling it because I bought another ECI-2, a limited edition with larvikite front panel. Really a keeper, as you can see. There are many good reviews of the unit online, and people just love it - both for its looks and sound.

I connected this power amp to 2 JBL LSR 32 speakers and used it for several hours while working in my shop. It sounds incredible. Treu hat mich dieser Streamer von Electrocompaniet begleitet. Eingebunden in einer kompletten Strecke von EC werden Sonus Faber Lautsprecher angesteuert. Ich bin kein Freund blumiger Soundbeschreibungen, aber eines kann man EC ganz sicher nachsagen. Es klingt warm. Das gilt für alle meine Geräte. Aber wie es nun mal so ist bei unserem Hobby, es muss immer mal wieder etwas neues her. Die Streamer sind in Sachen Ausstattung und Ansteuerung weiterentwickelt worden. Roon ist mit dem ECM2 nicht möglich. Die Besonderheit ist, dass das Gerät die beim Streaminganbieter hinterlegten Bibliotheken (bei mir TIDAL) immer zwischenpuffert. Den Ladevorgang möchte sich der ECM2 scheinbar nicht aus der Hand nehmen lassen. Es ist eine 2 TB-Platte verbaut.
