These are brand new. I never used them. I had plans to but it just never came to be and they were stored in the closet. No damage and in pristine new condition. Smoke free home.

There are two related unique features of this speaker. 1. It is a three-way speaker with woofer, midrange, and tweeter, which is unusual in small bookshelf speakers. 2. The midrange and tweeter are coaxial which means that the tweeter is in the middle of the mid-range and therefore the sounds are perfectly in phase because the drivers are not separated as in a normal speaker. These were designed by renowned speaker designer Andrew Jones who oversaw acclaimed designs at KEF, Pioneer, ELAC, and now Mobile Fidelity. He is famous for saying, The best two-way speaker is a three-way speaker. I just discovered that if you search Google for Elac Uni-Fi UB5 it will list the Amazon old listing which is not in stock. There are a few marks on the top of both. I didnt try to cover them up or buff them out other than cleaning. I think they show up more to the camera than to the naked eye but theyre there. Semicircular mark on the bottom of one, same. I have original box and original packing shaped styrofoam that will be used. Somewhere I have the manual and I will change this to say that I definitely have it when or if I find it. This is a 4 ohm speaker. Since it loves power, that is a good thing because it will allow the amplifier to deliver up to twice as much power as to an 8 ohm speaker. Non-smoking household. I have more speakers than I have money. The speakers are extremely solid and well built, and therefore heavy, 36 lb. Shipping is so weird. These speakers are in fantastic, used condition, and sound great. Youll have to look hard, but there are a few very minor nicks from normal use and handling. I bought them new, and have had them about 2 years. No box or paperwork, just the speakers and grills.Come from a smoke free, pet free adult environment.
