Excellent pair of bookshelf speakers. They sound awesome as a pair of speakers for your music needs, or you can pair them with a subwoofer and youve got a dynamite set of front channel speakers in a 3.1 home theater system. Add a pair of back-channel speakers and youre set for a 5.1 system. ELAC isnt the most well-known speaker brand, but theyre designed by Andrew Jones of KEF and Pioneer fame. I went a bit overboard a couple years ago with my home theater purchases and I just dont need these anymore. But theyre really fantastic speakers.
