There are two related unique features of this speaker. 1. It is a three-way speaker with woofer, midrange, and tweeter, which is unusual in small bookshelf speakers. 2. The midrange and tweeter are coaxial which means that the tweeter is in the middle of the mid-range and therefore the sounds are perfectly in phase because the drivers are not separated as in a normal speaker. These were designed by renowned speaker designer Andrew Jones who oversaw acclaimed designs at KEF, Pioneer, ELAC, and now Mobile Fidelity.
