Selling my pair of Elac Debut F5.2 Tower Speakers, with original packaging and shipping boxes. Theyre in excellent condition, purchased new 5+ years ago. I removed the tweeter covers for a smoother sound on the tweeters, but Ill include them if youd like to re-install them. Also includes floor spikes and custom solid copper speaker wire. Price listed is for the pair of speakers; theyll be shipped in two boxes, and may require multiple labels. These are big boxes and each box is about 44 lbs, so shipping will likely be expensive. However, I can work with you to figure out the best shipping option and Im open to splitting shipping costs. My first pair of true hifi speakers, originally powered them with an Emotiva amp, then graduated to a Rega IO that drove them beautifully. These F5.2 models are the original Andrew Jones design, and he squeezed as much performance as possible into an entry level tower. Cost to performance, they are incredible speakers for a budget and even mid level hifi setup. They also handle multimedia very well, and easily serve as a centerpiece to a theatre setup, with or without additional channels. Im letting them go because I recently acquired and refurbished a pair of 90s Klipsch floor standers, and I dont think Ill have need for another pair of speakers any time soon. Excellent pair of bookshelf speakers. They sound awesome as a pair of speakers for your music needs, or you can pair them with a subwoofer and youve got a dynamite set of front channel speakers in a 3.1 home theater system. Add a pair of back-channel speakers and youre set for a 5.1 system. ELAC isnt the most well-known speaker brand, but theyre designed by Andrew Jones of KEF and Pioneer fame. I went a bit overboard a couple years ago with my home theater purchases and I just dont need these anymore. But theyre really fantastic speakers.
