Cleaned and restored to working Miracord 10H with highly sought after Shure Dynetic M3D Cartridge and Stylus. Wonderful warm tones especially for your records from the same era. The Plinthe is in near mint condition. Wood has been cleaned with Murphys and treated with Briwax for protection. From Vinyl Engine: This is a great classic changer from the early 60s. Good design, it is solid and well built. If you find one in good shape, with minimal maintenance it will offer great performance for years to come. Much less maintenance than a Garrard of this era would require. Mine was acquired from the original owner, who took good care of it. Overall, while I like Dual and Garrard for different reasons, I prefer the Elacs. And, I prefer the look of the 10H to the look of latter models such as the 50H (which was my first turntable ever back in 1973). The 10H with its simple appearance, battleship grey steel chassis, sculpted tonearm, and round push buttons, has a retro elegance; none of the chrome embellishments of the 50H. It lacks the cueing and anti-skate of the 50H, but the tonearm is surprisingly compliant and performs well. While I have more modern turntable options in my collection, I have no hesitation playing my favorite albums on this turntable. Even when stacking records, it has a gentle mechanism. Very smooth. finally, it is a very nice sounding unit, compatible with many classic and newer cartridges.
