The open mechanism may need to be lubricated to work properly. The speakers sound good, no speaker wire included. This unit comes with 2 speakers, remote control, and antenna. The items are preowned and show some scuffs and scratches on them. This system is clean overall and comes from a smoke free home. There may be light dust in some crevices.
