Description
Model: Oppo UDP-203 Multi-Region (Region Free for BR & DVD) Blu-ray playerIncludes: Original accessories (Bag, Remote, Power cable, Outer Box, Manual - HDMI cable not included)Condition: I am the 2nd owner of this player & everything works as it should - There are two small tears to the upper corners of the original box (see pics) Very Important Description: I have two of these players (with the exact features) - This one was hardly used so hopefully someone can get more use out of it rather than just sitting in my entertainment center. This 203 is Region FreeMulti-Region + has other features. Please see all of the pics! The pics show the home screen, setup screen & navigation through the Oppo itself + a menu of a title being played with no **** in the player. If you are unsure of what the pictures mean or what that description means please do not bid on this item! If you know what the pictures are of and what it means feel free to bid or contact me through Ebay with any questions. Shipping: Will ship in the original outer shipping box from Crutchfield (shown in pics) via UPS Ground with signature required On Sep-02-24 at 07:53:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Note that the player is DVD Region Free and Blu-ray Region Switching. I have been asked about how to use those features. For DVD Region it is automatic, I can confirm this as I tried a Region 2 DVD and it plays the same as a Region 1 DVD (Insert & it plays). I cannot confirm the BR switching as I only have USA & Japanese BR titles on disc (Region A) I do not have any Region BC discs to test it out. The instructions for the BR Region Switching are as follows: For Blu-rays you just need to change the player’s disc menu language as below to change the region: - English plays region A - French plays region B - Chinese plays region C. Note that I have added a picture that shows the location of this in the Oppo setup menu. This Disc Menu Language does NOT change the player menu language so you will still navigate the Oppo menu in English. As mentioned I very rarely used any BR discs on this player and when I did they were all R1 so I was never able to fully test that feature. On Sep-02-24 at 12:42:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Disregard some of the previous additional description... I found in my catalog of discs I never touch hidden in the closet collection a Region B French Blu-ray (Japan SinksSinking of Japan 2006) to confirm the Region Switching for Blu-ray feature. At first trial I left the player Disc Menu Language setup at English - Inserted the Region B disc and sure enough it came back with a Region Mismatch warning and refused to go further. Then I went back to the setup and changed the Disc Menu Language setup to French (for Region B discs) - Inserted the disc and the intro logo came up, it then went to the copyright warning in French (see added pic) and after a few trailers, to the main menu. I also added a screenshot pic of the movie playing indicating the BDMV and French audio. So I can confirm that using the instructions listed previously a Region B Blu-ray disc had no issue playing at all. I could not confirm Region C, but Im going to assume that should work as well.
