It has been retipped by VAS and only has ~38 hours of use according to my stylus timer. The only reason I am selling is because I moved up to the Te Kaitora and I have a collection of carts that I need to slim down. I ran this cartridge on my Linn LP12 turntable into a Dynavector P75 phono preamp (100 Ohms fixed loading, or Dr T mode, both sound great). AMAZING sound with a mix of top and bottom end control, big musical energy/PRaT, and remarkable ability to minimize surface noises. All in all, a really wonderful cart. Hello, this fine cartridge was re-tipped by Soundsmith in 2021 and used for about 6 months. Its been sitting in a drawer since then. I like to try a different cartridge every year. Soundsmith replaced the aluminum cantilever with a boron version as used in Dynavectors more expensive models.This is the High Output model, usable with a standard MM preamp. Bidding starts at $450.
