Just taken on trade from a great client who upgraded. This DV-20 x was on a VPI scout. He keeps good records of usage and estimates the time on the stylus to be about 250 hours so plenty of life in the cart. I cleaned the stylus and looked under my scope and stylus looks 100%. This is the 2.8mV version. DV 20X has a solid aluminum alloy body and a rigid magnet construction similar to XX-2 MkII. The cantilever is a 6mm length of hard aluminum pipe with a Micro-Ridge stylus. The magnetic flux damping and softened magnetism along with powerful neodymium magnets gives the 20X2-H a healthy 2.8 mV output - suitable for most MM inputs. The 20X2-L has an output of 0.3 mV ideal for most MC phono stages. Both high and low versions of their 20X2 are available ensure for the optimum end result. The high output model is well suited to valve preamplifiers or electronics that only offer MM inputs whilst the low output version offers superb performance when combined with dedicated moving coil inputs.

I have had this cartridge for a few years , but it was rarely used, I would honestly say it was used for less than 5 hours in the last 2 years , I can not tell you exactly how many hours on it ,but I can tell you it sounds great and is fully functional .

Dynavector dv 20 b type 2 in ovp und Messprotokoll.Ich habe es angeschlossen und es funktioniert tadellos.Was mir aufgefallen ist, dass der Nadelschutz etwas leichtgängig ist und in der offenen Stellung nicht einrastet.Den Nadelschutz kann man so weit über den Tonabnehmer klappen, dass dieser in der oberen Position bleibt.
