One is to send it for repair which is not very expensive. You can search online for LP cartridge repair shops. The other use is that you can trade this broken 17D3 in with any Dynavector dealer (myself included) on a brand new Dynavector 17DX and receive a discount on the new cartridge of $470 towards the new version 17DX which normally would be $2350.
