They are a 3 driver, 2-way speaker system. The drivers are a 1 ferro fluid soft dome tweeter and two 6.5 mid-bass drivers. The cabinets have gold plated binding posts for bi-wiring & bi-amping for improved sound and control. They are finished in black ash vinyl wrap, and cabinets, drivers and grills are in great shape. This company is not well known but the best test of any speaker is to listen to them, and these dont disappoint.There isnt a lot of information on the web on this speaker but those in the know regard Sound Dynamics well. As with any loudspeaker, the best test is a listen and you will be very pleased with the sound, and especially at the price.They are a trapezoidal shape, where at the base the width is 10and 8 at the top. Very efficient at 91db meaning you can play these very loud with a low wattage amp. These are the BIG Brothers to the very well regarded RTS-3 bookshelf speaker.
