Up for sale, a used, vintage Dynalab F205 FM Signal Sleuth. This unit does show some signs of wear, please see the attached pictures and video for condition and demonstration. I dont actually know what this unit does, im assuming it amplifies and or refines rhe FM signal. It appears to be working as it should, you can tell a difference when turning off the “amplify” switch and when turning the “gain” and “tune” knobs. Since I dont know exactly what it is supposed to do, i am listing it for “Parts or Repair”, As Is, with NO returns. I am also listing it for half of the price that the last few have sold for. This is a Magnum Dynalab FT-101A Analog FM Stereo Tuner. Made in Canada. 120V. From a local storage unit. Read details below before bidding. Cosmetics-The front tuning knob has some paint loss on the edge. The top body plate has some blotchy residue. See photos. Some tarnish on the rear RCA & antenna plugs. The bottom has some scratches. Good overall otherwise with some dirt residue. Operationally tested and working overall. Nice strong reception. Tuning and meters responded freely. Clear audio from both outputs. I did notice that some of the front flip switches were intermittent at times. It was in storage for many years so might need some general service to be back to original specs. I took a peek on the inside and the board has some residue. So maybe got some moisture at some point ?? See lots of photos of what you are getting. Sold AS IS.
