Dynaco Stereo 120 Power Amplifier acquired from the family of the original owner. I gave this unit a quick test and it only has output from one channel. And the sound quality wasnt the greatest from the one working channel, it was distorted. This amplifier was stored in a box in the attic for as long as the family could remember. I removed the top cover and took a couple of pictures so you can see what youre getting. Worth mentioning is that this particular amplifier was built in the Dynaco factory and not on Grandmas kitchen table like most. I have included a picture of the Factory Wired label (auction picture #10). Cosmetically this unit has tarnish and oxidation on the bright areas, the cage is excellent. The usual dulling of the bright finish which many times can be shined up with polish. This surface tarnishing is common on almost all Dynaco 120s. Dynaco ST120 Stereo Amplifier This auction is for a Dynaco Stereo 120 power amplifier in original condition. Cosmetic condition is very good, showing no major defects. I originally purchased it with the intention of upgrading it to match the PAT4 I upgraded, but found that it sound so good, there was no point to upgrading it. I have not opened it up. I have used it for many hours of excellent listening pleasure. It does not have any apparent roll-off on the bass when used with Dynaco A25s as one might expect from an amp that is at least 50 years old. Buy it and listen or buy it and upgrade it. KEEPING OLD AUDIO ALIVE I am buying old vintage ST-120 amplifiers and completely reconditioning all of the old vintage components, such as: New L/R Driver Boards w/all new components New output Transistors New output Capacitors New Power Supply Capacitors New Power Supply Module New Speaker Jacks New Input Jacks New Blue Light for the Power Switch New Strain Relief for the power cord All New Pure Copper Wiring Completely New Zobel Network The only pieces that I use are: The Actual Chassis, only if its in decent shape, no rusted chassis, minor blemishes are known for the Chassis I clean the Chassis as best I can without destroying the Screen Print Transformer, it has to be min. 92V Fuse holder, considering if it looks and feels strong, if not it gets replaced The actual power switch, out with the Orange light, in with a New LED Blue Light, basically your purchasing a New Power Amplifier, thatll sing for another 50+ years, only cleaner, clearer, and much more POWERFUL/STABLE, I am KEEPING OLD AUDIO ALIVE, PEACE

Die Dynaco Mark VI Vintage Röhrenendstufen bieten mit jeweils 120 Watt eine kraftvolle Leistung für audiophile Liebhaber. Komplettiert wird das Set durch den PAT 5 Vorverstärker und den AF6 Tuner. Hergestellt in den Vereinigten Staaten, verspricht diese Rarität ein authentisches Klangerlebnis und ist eine einzigartige Möglichkeit für Liebhaber und Sammler eine seltene Audiorarität zu erwerben.Mit dabei ist der Vorverstärker Dynaco Pat 5 sowie der Tuner Dynaco AF 6. Die Röhren der Endstufen waren keine 50 Stunden nach erfolgter Reparatur in ca.1993 in Betrieb. Seitdem wurde die Anlage nur noch sporadisch in Betrieb genommen, um die Kondensatoren der Komponenten in aktivierten Zustand zu erhalten. Ein Drehknopf am Vorverstärker wurde beim letzten Umzugverloren, zusätzlich ist an einem VU-Meter die 3Volt Birne defekt ( gibt es überall zu kaufen ). Ich habe vor 14Tagen die Endstufenunter Herausnahme der Röhren in Betrieb genommen um nichts kaputt zu machen. Der Käufer sollte in jedem Fall eine Revision ins Auge fassen, da die Geräte nun schon ca.55 Jahre alt sind. Alles in optisch sehr gutem Zustand. Manual von Vorverstärker und Endstufen sind mit dabei. Schalter und Potis von Vorverstärker und Tuner sollten gereinigt werden.Alle Komponenten sind aus erster Hand und ich habe damals bei Light & Sound und Mitarbeiterrabatt 2800.- DM bezahlt, nur für die Endstufen. Meiner Meinung nach alles in optisch sehr gutem Zustand Die Endstufen werden ohne Vorführung angeboten..
