Well maintained speakers still sound like they were delivered yesterday.

One pair of Dynacord D12 loudspeakers in good working order. As the photos show, the thin layer of foam that covers the plastic speaker grill is not pristine. This does not impact the sound quality of the speakers. This cosmetic blemish is easily fixed by a couple of ways… remove the foam and let the speakers show. They would still have the plastic grill to protect the speakers. The grill is approximately 1/4 inch squares. You could also remove the foam and replace it with some more foam. These things are substantial. Each one weighs just under 35 pounds, is 22.5 inches tall, 12.5 inches deep, and 16.75 inches wide at the widest point. As the photos show, connections are make using ‘speakon’ connectors. These connectors push in and turn allowing for a more secure connection during use. I have included a photo of the speakon connector I used to test the speakers. THIS CONNECTOR IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION AS IT IS IN USE IN A SETUP I HAVE. IT WAS JUST USED TO TEST THE SPEAKERS. Speakers have been tested and sound great.

Loved for decades, well cared for and preserved. Mated with a Marantz 2010 for the last 50 years, its 10 watts per channel guaranteed a low stress life. The woofer was constructed with a heavy-duty paper cone and a large voice coil, while the tweeter used a soft dome made from silk. Early production models employed a SEAS H087 tweeter, and later production models used a Scan-Speak D3808 tweeter. The crossover network, which separates the frequencies sent to the woofer and tweeter, was designed to cross over around 1500 Hz. The tweeter level was adjustable by the user, using a stepped potentiometer to reduce the energy going to the tweeter. The A25’s cabinet was made from sturdy, high-density fiberboard (HDF) and finished in a walnut wood veneer. The enclosure used an “aperiodic” design, with a large port stuffed with high density material, to provide an extended low frequency response along with a smooth impedance curve. Performance The A25’s performance was remarkable for such an inexpensive and simple design. It had a smooth frequency response, great detail, decent efficiency, and reasonable power handling capability. It was capable of a well balanced sound for all types of music, from rock to classical. It was compact enough to be set up on a bookshelf or on stands, but large enough to sit on the floor. The Dynaco A-10 speakers were made in Denmark in 1972. These rare small vintage bookshelf speakers and have an averaged frequency response was, +/-4 db from 50 Hz – 15. Distortion was @ 1 watt level, was below 5% down to 65 Hz.They sound good, all the drivers have been tested and work. However, they have some wear, and the woofer surrounds need replacing.They definitely need a subwoofer……and I just happen to have a great one!This big bad Onkyo Powered Model SKW 150 Watt monster! A25 (Dynaco) vintage hifi speakers. Dynaco a25 in superb condition and perfect working order. They sound fantastic! If youre looking then theres probably no need for an introduction. These are one of the most loved and sort after loudspeakers ever made. They sound superb, they have high quality drivers and components. Loads of detail and warmth with bags of musicality. Easy to drive so can be used with tube amplifiers. These have had one owner from new. Speakers have been thoroughly checked and are working perfectly and are completely original. Its rare to find a set in thus condition. They look really great. They also have there original packaging which is in perfect condition. There is one very slight dink to the veneer on a rear corner which has been repaired and some slight water marks on top of one cabinet. Both cabinets are solid and all drivers working perfectly.
