This is a vintage Philips DSR6000 first-generation TiVo DVR dual satellite receiver for DIRECTV. Its in good cosmetic condition. Seems to be working. Responds to remote, can browse the menus and watch the 2 videos on the HDD. Label on the back got erased when I tried to clean it with too strong of a cleaner. Sold for parts as DIRECTV no longer activates SD receivers so this cannot be used as intended.This DVR has a Quantum 40GB HDD. It already has 2 3.5 drive bays and PSU with +5V and +12V outputs, among other voltages. It could house an audio amplifier, pfSense/OPNsense router, homebuilt NAS, test bench power supply, etc. Perhaps it has some useful parts that could be pulled off the PCB.
