This ad is for a Dual 1015 motor with updated, NOS idler drive wheel. Motor is very quiet, with no humming or noises, and has good and steady power. Idler wheel is made out of black flexible rubber, not hard and brittle brown material that slips. If your platter doesnot turn or chatters, cycles and shuts off or rpm’s are slow or erratic, these are the symptoms of a bad idler wheel or motor. The motor came from a Dual 1015 turntable that had a bad idler wheel that was slipping. The motor was removed, cleaned, and bearings lubricated. The motor was reinstalled along with the included new Dual idler wheel and tested. The platter operated steady & quietly at all speeds (16,33,45 &78 RPM”S) and cycled as it should. Included are: 31 R-U16 motor, switch, regulator and wiring assy. Motor mounting nut’s and screws NOS Dual idler wheel (flexible non-slip black rubber) Idler wheel base washer and top retainer washer Dual 1015 owner’s manual

Der Dual Plattenspieler mit der Typbezeichnung 1210 wurde komplett restauriert. Die Mechanik wurde entharzt und wieder vollständig gängig gemacht und gefettet bzw geölt. Der Tonabnehmer erhielt eine neue Nadel. Die Holzzarge wurde abgeschliffen und mit neuem Holzschutzlack lackiert. Der verloren gegangene silberfarbige Zierstreifen an der Front wurde durch einen schwarzen Folienzierstreifen ersetzt, welcher optisch sehr gut zum Gerät passt. Die Haube ist ein Ersatz für die nicht mehr vorhandene Originalhaube. Diese ist in den Abmessungen kleiner und kann aufgelegt werden. Nach meiner Meinung passt auch diese kleinere Haube optisch sehr gut, anders als die ursprüngliche Haube, welche recht gewaltig war. Die Haube hat allerdings einige deutliche Kratzer. Am besten wirkt dieser Plattenspieler ohne die Haube, diese hat aber ihre Daseinsberechtigung als Staubschutz.Die Umdrehungsgeschwindigkeit wurde nachgemessen und ist im korrekten Bereich. Die Funktionen des Plattenspielers wurden nach der Restaurierung final überprüft. The mechanics were removed from the resin and made completely usable again and greased or oiled. The pickup received a new needle. The wooden frame was sanded and painted with new wood protection varnish. The lost silver-colored decorative strip on the front was replaced by a black foil decorative strip, which visually matches the device very well. The hood is a replacement for the original hood that no longer exists. This is smaller in dimensions and can be placed on top. In my opinion, this smaller hood also fits visually very well, unlike the original hood, which was quite huge. However, the hood has some noticeable scratches. This record player looks best without the hood, but this has its right to exist as dust protection.The rotation speed was measured and is in the correct range. The functions of the record player were finally checked after the restoration. Nice Dual ( United Audio) wooden plinth. Has the very cool angled body and fits several Dusks including 1009, 1010, 1014, 1015 , 1019, 1225, 1226 Condition is excellent for the body and the only thing to point out is the front spring circle has a bit of fraying of the Masonite. (Doesn’t effect the fit)
