The model M3 remote is the original main remote. I don’t believe it was ever used though I did test it to be working. The Z3 remote, which has never been used, can control a second zone (see Owner’s Manual). The SR5 remote, while not original to this unit, can be used to switch between Power On and Standby and control the volume. It’s the one I used since I had no need to control any other functions.
