Doors open and close and all buttons and knobs appear to work mechanically, but I do not have a way to test the unit as it requires connection with a Sony System Control. Note: This unit does not use RCA plugs. You must have a Sony System Control to accept the input for this unit. This is a fully tested and working Sony TC-W421 Dual Stereo Cassette Deck Player. This was tested with a Sony Audio Receiver and received power and played the audio without any troubles. This includes the Control Cable as shown in the photos.
