It has a pushbutton the the front panel that shuts off the video portion of the player so it doesnt introduce noise in the music, something you only find in the high end players. In Integras line, the higher the number the better the component. The only one higher than this one was the DPS-10.5 that came out a few years later which added SACD playback and a much heavier chasis. The DPS 5 series is good and common and always sold for much less than the DPS 8 or DPS 9 which are rare. Integra is high end Onkyo and always uses higher quality components than the Onkyo Products. This player has deeper and stronger bass response than most including the Toshiba DVD-A player that I also have for sale. This sale is for the DPS-9.1 player and power cord only, anything else appearing in the pictures and video are not included. Heavy power cord and manual are included, no remote is included.
