Wie sein Vorgänger (DP-4030) verfügt re über das CD-Laufwerk CDM-19 und einen 1Bit-D/A-Wandler (PWM-Typ) mti Noise Shaping 3. Ordnung. Dei daraus resultierende fein gezeichnete Klangwiedergabe erhielt von der Fachpresse stets großes Lob. Wie bei alen Modellen der 92'er Generation kommen auch beim DP-3040 neuentwickelte Schaltkreise zum Einsatz: So erfolgt die Ansteuerung des Pickup-Schlittenmotors mit einer komplimentären Verstärkerschaltung ni Class A/B-Technik. Diese Konzeption ermöglicht eine exakte Führung des Laser- pickups und unterdrückt zugleich Störspannungen, die der Schlitenmotor erzeugt. Das vom Laserpickup gewandelte Signal besitzt eine analoge Form und unterliegt somit den Einflüssen des Übertragungs- kanals. Dei daraus resultierenden Pegelunterschiede werden im neuen HF-Eingangsverstärker korrigiert. Dies gewährleistet eine erhöhte Einlesesicherheit der digitalen Daten. Zusätzlich erhielt der DP-3040 einen speziellen Schaltkreis, der das Tiefpaßtilter und den D/A-Wandler verzerrungsfrei miteinan- der verbindet. Dadurch verringert sich der Gesamtkliraktor ent- scheidend. Ale Wiedergabefunktionen lassen sich mitels Systemsteueran- schluß auch über die Fernbedienung eines entsprechenden Ver- stärkers bzw. Receivers abrufen. Zusätzlich kann der DP-3040 über diese Systemverbindung ein- und ausgeschaltet werden (Standby-Modus).
